Position Summary

Under the Onsite Leadership team, this role supports business growth by driving sales and customer service through understanding.

Job Responsibilities
  • Interact with customers daily, responding to inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Sell a diversified product line, promoting Private Brands, Technical Services, and ecommerce channels, while providing an understanding of the Grainger Value Proposition.
  • Process customer orders accurately and promptly through the computer system.
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge through required training programs.
  • Perform branch support duties, including warehouse functions as needed.
  • Drive key operational metrics in customer satisfaction, sales, safety, and improvements using available tools.
  • Resolve complex customer concerns using sound judgment and best practices.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Team meetings and initiatives as required.
  • Prioritize personal and workplace safety.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Education/Experience
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment.
  • Focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Knowledge of industrial and/or safety products is an asset.
  • Superior interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license is an asset.
  • High School Diploma completion.
