Job Description

What You’ll Do :

Reporting to the Sales & Service Manager, Collector Cars and Motorcycles Program, you’ll place and maintain insurance coverage for antique auto, collector car and motorcycle products as well as other Lifestyle products. You are responsible for monitoring renewals as well as processing endorsements and cancellations and providing customer-focused solutions to our customers.

The core parts of your role will be to :

  • Sell Lifestyle products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, answering incoming communications.
  • Servicing Lifestyle products – primarily motorcycle and collector cars with support toRV, Boats and cottages.
  • Actively participating within the team unit and independently to continuously contribute to overall business improvement.
  • Identifyand explainappropriate coverage to customers.
  • Assists with cross selling other products such as Home, Auto, Commercial etc.
  • Generates policies, calculates premiums, and establishes payment methods.
  • Communicatewith customersregarding existing and possible changes to coverage, by telephone or email.
  • Follow the provided workflowin Applied Rating Services and EPIC.
  • Respondto questions from customersby telephone or email.
  • Reports claims to the insurance company and follows up with the customers.
  • Attends trade shows to answer questions or places coverage for customers.
  • Processes endorsements and cancellations at the request of customers.
  • Upholds privacy standards when dealing with confidential information.
  • Keeps updated on company underwriting guidelines and changing markets.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate :

  • Completion of secondary school.
  • RIBO license is required (AMF or other National Licensing would be considered an asset).
  • Willing to get licensed nationally (excluding Quebec).
  • CAIB, CPIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM or other industry designations an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with EPIC and Applied Rating Services systems arean asset. (Training will be provided)
  • Proven experience offering customer-focused solutions and building long-lasting relationships.
  • Knowledge of antiques autos, collector cars and motorcycles is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate in French is an asset.
