We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Sales Representative to increase our presence in retail and distribution channels. This role will focus on securing and supporting relationships with independent retailers, co-ops, distributors, and regional chains. The ideal candidate understands the rhythm of seasonal sales, enjoys building relationships, and can speak the language of farm and garden customers.

  • Identify and grow accounts in the retail, agri-supply, erosion controland garden store segments
  • Support onboarding and sell-through with dealers, farm co-ops, and independent retailers
  • Conduct in-store visits, product training, and merchandising support as needed
  • Manage inbound distributor requests and outbound territory growth
  • Represent Terrafibre at trade shows, buying group events, and demo days
  • Provide ongoing customer service and technical product knowledge
  • Track and report key sales metrics and maintain CRM records
  • Support web-based sales for BCG and customers.
  • Share market feedback and coordinate with internal teams on product, packaging, and logistics needs

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the hemp fibre industry
  • 3+ years of sales experience in retail, agri-products, erosion control or garden/hardware supply
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build long-term relationships
  • Familiarity with Canadian Tire, UFA, or similar retail structures is a major asset
  • Comfortable with travel across Alberta and neighboring provinces
  • Self-directed and adaptable; thrives in a growing company
  • Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
  • Passion for sustainability and bio-based products a plus
