Partner with clients to understand their project requirements and assist in planning comprehensive solutions. As knowledgeable sales professionals, project sales associates provide tailored recommendations that address customers' specific project needs and challenges.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
  2. Clarify and understand customer needs to recommend the best solutions for their projects.
  3. Expand the geographic sales area by building new relationships and strengthening existing accounts.
  4. Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.
  5. Prepare estimates and material lists; follow up on deliveries.
  6. Take initiative and confidently manage customer interactions.
  7. Stay updated on product trends and market conditions.
  8. Consider career advancement opportunities in Institutional, Renovator, or Outside Sales.

Qualifications

  1. Experience in a commissioned sales environment is preferred.
  2. Problem solver capable of working independently.
  3. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  4. Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new software.
  6. Ability to travel to customer sites; valid driver’s license required.
  7. Knowledge of building materials and construction processes is a plus.
