Trouw Nutrition is hiring… We are looking for Sales Representatives - Poultry to join our team in regions throughout Ontario (primarily Southwestern) , to continue to grow our business and be a business partner with our valued customers!

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for providing on-farm feed solutions for our customers; determined and supported by on-farm consultations and building strong partnering relationships with our clients. To be successful in this role, you will consistently demonstrate prompt, courteous, professional and knowledgeable service and support to our customers.

About The Role : Drive sales and build strong customer relationships

Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Consult with our customers on their feed needs
  • Work well in a team environment with other Trouw Nutrition functions , such as Customer Service, Formulation, Nutrition and Pricing to meet customer needs.
  • Work in close collaboration with Customer Service, Logistics and the customer to achieve on-farm expectations and ensure Right Feed, Right Place, Right Time

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications : ?

  • Post-secondary education in agriculture is an asset but not required. Will consider experience and education combination ?
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, and organizational skills
  • Having superior customer focus and ability to follow-up while aligning with internal processes and procedures
  • High level of integrity, respect, and work ethic

Expectation from the Role :

Self-motivated and takes the initiative

Ability to work independently and on a team

  • A valid driver’s license is required for this role
  • Ability to travel to customers and attend sales events
  • Must be passionate about your career!
