Job summary

VIBRANT Marketing Inc. seeks a Sales Representative/Merchandiser for a six-week contract in Hamilton, Ontario. You will visit 4 to 10 locations daily to stock and rotate products, set up planograms, and improve product visibility on the sales floor.

This role is an independent contractor position offering $26/hour for ~40 hours per week, plus vehicle and cell phone allowances, a $300 completion bonus, and provided uniforms. Opportunity to move toward a field sales role.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service, retail, or merchandising experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Visit approximately 4 to 10 locations daily to stock and rotate products, maintain displays, and follow merchandising standards.
• Set up planograms in convenience stores and place promotional materials.
• Improve product visibility in refrigerated areas and on the sales floor.
• Build relationships with store contacts and address merchandising needs.
• Share opportunities and store feedback with the field sales representative.
• Complete weekly reports on store visits and execution.

This is a 6 week contract opportunity with an anticipated end date of December 18th.

What you’ll be responsible for

You’ll visit approximately 4 to 10 locations each day to:

What you’ll need

• A valid driver’s licence and exclusive access to a vehicle.
• At least one year of customer service, retail, or merchandising experience. Grocery experience is an asset.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Smart Serve certification, or willingness to obtain it before starting.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• To be at least 18 years old, as the role involves handling alcoholic beverages.
