Job Type: Independent Contractor (Commission + Modest Base)

Compensation: $35,000–$50,000 CAD base + commission on pre-construction agreements and build contracts

We are seeking a Sales Representative who can generate new business, build relationships, and convert leads into signed contracts. This role is about trust-building and persistence — from networking at Haven meetings to cold calling landowners and nurturing inbound leads into long-term clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend networking events (Haven, builder associations, industry functions) to represent Homes by Westgate.
  • Handle inbound leads (calls, website forms, referrals) with professionalism and speed.
  • Conduct outbound cold calling to landowners, architects, and homeowners.
  • Generate your own pipeline of leads through referrals, partnerships, and direct outreach.
  • Develop relationships with high-net-worth individuals and professionals in the residential building ecosystem.
  • Track pipeline and report activity regularly to leadership.
  • Collaborate with the preconstruction team to convert leads into signed agreements.
Who You Are
  • 5+ years’ experience in residential construction, luxury home sales, or real estate sales.
  • Proven track record of closing six-figure+ residential contracts.
  • Confident in both cold calling and network-based selling.
  • Polished, professional presence — comfortable working with wealthy clients.
  • Persistent, organized, and thrives in a commission-driven environment.
  • Strong network in Vancouver’s luxury residential market is an asset.
Compensation

Base: 35,000–$50,000 CAD (support for outreach / networking activity).

Commission: on signed pre-construction agreements and on signed design-build contracts.

Milestone bonuses: for high-value contracts closed.

Realistic annual earnings: $90,000–$150,000 CAD+ with performance.

  • A resume with detailed sales history in construction / real estate.
  • At least two examples of major residential deals you personally closed (include value + details).
  • A short statement of your experience with networking + cold calling in sales.
