Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Sales Representative for a 12-month contract in Ottawa. This role involves promoting and selling medical products, providing product demonstrations, and managing customer relationships. Candidates should possess a university degree and at least three years of outside sales experience, ideally in medical device sales. Frequent travel will be required to meet the territory responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of outside sales experience required.
  • Preferred: 3 years in Medical Device Sales.
  • Valid driver's license required and must be able to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Stryker Interventional Spine and Orthopaedic products.
  • Educate doctors and staff on proper product use.

Job description

Note : This is a 12 month contract position.

What you will do :

As a Sales Representative you will strategically promote and sell Strykers products to meet our customers needs. You will have the opportunity to conduct evaluations in the Operating Room and office settings persuasively demonstrating the value of our products. You will leverage your product knowledge and clinical acumen to become a trusted partner to doctors nurses and other hospital staff. As a Sales Representative you love living in the fast lane and find purpose in selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better.

Directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Stryker Interventional Spine and Orthopaedic Instrument products

Educates and informs doctors nurses and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Interventional Spine and Orthopeadic Instrument products

Directs product evaluations in operating rooms hospitals and office settings

May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows conventions and / or clinical meetings

Assist in Request for Proposal(RFP) related activities and contract negotiation

Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion

May assist in the training and development of associate sales personnel

Has authority to recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product nonconformances and quality system activities

What you need

Required : University Degree

3 years outside sales experience

Preferred :

Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a healthrelated discipline science or kinesiology

3 years in Medical Device Sales

Additional Information :

Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as companyrelated duties and obligations

Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered

Must have a valid drivers license

Travel Percentage : Up to 100%
