A leading company in the packaging industry is seeking a Sales Representative to drive business growth in the Greater Toronto Area. This full-time role involves field visits and collaboration with various teams to provide customized packaging solutions. The position offers a competitive base salary with commission potential, along with benefits in a supportive environment.
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business and growing existing accounts across the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario. You’ll focus on selling custom corrugated packaging, point-of-purchase displays, retail packaging, and packaging consumables. This is a full-time role based out of the Markham office, with most of your time spent in the field visiting clients. You will work closely with the design, customer service, and production teams to provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs. You will report to the Sales Manager and is responsible for maintaining and increasing sales volume. This is a full-time role based out of the Markham office, with most of your time spent in the field visiting clients. This role offers a base salary of $73,000 plus commission in the first year.

This division operates independently from the parent company, which provides similar packaging solutions to large and enterprise clients. The division was founded in 1959 and currently has 57 employees focused on selling coregulated packaging solutions, including boxes, point-of-purchase displays, retail packaging, and packaging consumables to small and medium-sized businesses across all industries. TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES
Prospect for new business and follow up on warm leads
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Collaborate with internal departments to develop customer solutions
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotes
Maintain records and track activity in CRM (ES2000)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Field-based visits across Southern Ontario required
Less than 10% overnight travel (e.g., tradeshows)
SUPPORT & TRAINING
Onboarding support from senior sales leadership
Ongoing collaboration with customer service and design teams
Job shadowing and resource sharing
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
3+ years of B2B sales experience
Corrugated packaging sales experience is required
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Microsoft Excel: Intermediate to Advanced
PowerPoint: Intermediate
Word: Intermediate
CRM: Proficient (ES2000 preferred)
