Job description

As a sales representative, you will sell premium sunrooms, glass enclosures, and related outdoor living solutions to homeowners. This is a field-based role in Greater Vancouver area. This position reports to the Regional Manager and offers a competitive base salary $45,000 - $55,000, car allowance plus uncapped commission.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Base Salary: $45,000 - $55,000
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $80,000 - $150,000 in the first year
  • Commission: Uncapped, paid monthly
  • Car Allowance: Mileage reimbursement
  • Health Benefits: Company-paid
  • Additional Tools: Laptop, cell phone, and CRM system provided

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:

  • Regional Head Office: Langley, BC
  • Territory: Greater Vancouver Area
  • Work Model: Field-based with flexibility to work from home
  • Office Presence: Required for weekly Monday & Friday team meetings in Langley, BC
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1–5 years of B2C sales experience (home improvement or related industries preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

  • Blinds and Screens: Integrated solutions for sunrooms and enclosures.

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS / INDUSTRY FOCUS / DECISION-MAKER(S):

  • Primary Market: Residential homeowners in the Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby and surrounding regions.
  • Decision-Makers: Typically the homeowners themselves, aged 35–50+ years, with a focus on those looking for high-quality, customizable outdoor living solutions .

SALES CYCLE / ORDER VALUE / ACCOUNT SIZE

  • Sales Cycle: Typically involves 1–2 in-person visits to close a sale, ranging from 1 week to 2 months, depending on customer decision timelines.
  • Average order size for B2C sales is $25,000 CAD, as sunrooms are often a one-time purchase for homeowners .
  • Account Size: Primarily individual homeowners; no recurring revenues expected in the first year as the focus is on new customer acquisition .
