Position Description

As a Sales Representative at Novo Nordisk, you will develop, implement, and update territory business plans to drive sales results with target audiences, as well as analyse sales data to determine progress and identify areas of opportunity, incorporating findings into your territory plan. Some of the main responsibilities include:

  1. Customise sales calls to address opportunities and the needs of targeted healthcare providers.
  2. Organise and conduct product education sessions within budgetary guidelines. Manage territory Continuing Health Education (CHE) and sample budgets.
  3. Liaise with pharmacists and community hospitals to ensure proper and optimal product usage.
  4. Attend conferences, symposiums, and seminars to promote company products and provide current information to customers, while obtaining and sharing market information.
  5. Participate in National Sales meetings, District meetings, and training programs as required.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  1. University degree or business qualifications.
  2. 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in the diabetes or obesity therapeutic area.
