Job Description

As the new Sales and Account Manager in flexible packaging, you will apply your understanding of our value proposition to identify, quantify, and open the door with new customers to achieve profitable sales growth, as well as strengthen relationships with existing key account customers. You are responsible for delivering market segment insights that would benefit from our solutions and services, establishing relationships with customer decision-makers to be shared with our sales team, and closing deals for profitability and growth. We are hiring a candidate who has managed both a sales team and sales volume of over 100 million and is eager to be part of a growing and winning culture. Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Develop plans and strategies to grow packaging sales in the custom Beverage, Personal Care, and Consumer Packaging markets.
  2. Develop and manage the sales force necessary to achieve growth targets.
  3. Recommend price quotations through analyzing data and making informed judgments.
  4. Produce sales budgets and forecasts and monitor results.
  5. Coordinate efforts with Product Line Management, Product Development, and Manufacturing.
  6. Develop in-depth relationships with key accounts.
  7. Continuously seek and utilize competitive intelligence.

Position Requirements:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers.
  • Forecasting sales volume.
  • Administration of pricing and quality issues.
  • Experience in packaging, including flexible, blow molding, injection molding, or thermoformed packaging, will be given first consideration.
