Job description

  • Promote products to current and prospective clients within the assigned territory.
  • Clearly and persuasively explain product benefits and advantages.
  • Plan travel schedules to maximize time spent with customers.
  • Participate in several trade shows annually.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and conduct market research.
  • Identify and develop new markets and business opportunities.
  • Conduct cold calls, walk-ins, and regular customer visits.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and assess satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, engineering, production, customer service).
  • Use CRM and Microsoft 365 tools to track opportunities, sales, deliveries, and customer feedback.
  • Handle the administrative follow-up of the sales process.
  • Assist in drafting, submitting, and negotiating offers and quotes.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • High school diploma (DES) or equivalent; other relevant training accepted.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial or related product sales.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle and full insurance.
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage frequent travel, including outside Québec.
  • Bilingual : French and English (spoken and written), as there will be frequent travel to the USA.
  • Ability to assess needs, negotiate effectively, and close sales.
  • Knowledge of the wine industry or experience in a vineyard (an asset).
  • Training in sommellerie (an asset).
