The Opportunity

The Sales Representative is responsible for pursuing new business opportunities and managing existing customer accounts to meet sales objectives. The territory covers Guelph to London areas.

The role involves prospecting and engaging new customers, developing new business, managing current relationships, and partnering with management for planning and strategy execution.

How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock

  • Articulate sales vision and develop a sales pipeline, managing existing accounts
  • Build relationships within customer organizations at multiple levels
  • Drive growth through new accounts and existing account development
  • Collaborate across facilities to generate additional revenue streams
  • Identify pricing dynamics and market trends to inform decisions
  • Develop account strategies aligned with market trends and customer needs
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and monitor profitability
  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce.com) effectively
  • Manage contractual relationships and negotiations

People and Culture

  • Qualify prospective customers and collaborate with teams to execute sales strategies
  • Identify opportunities to improve margins and ensure customer satisfaction

What You Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-3+ years B2B sales experience, preferably in manufacturing or service industry
  • Strong presentation skills and sales competence
  • Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office
