Job Description

WHAT’S THE JOB?

You will lead the pursuit of new prospects for Dana Hospitality in Western Canada. Based in Calgary or Edmonton, you will generate, manage, and convert a sustainable pipeline of potential contracts aligned with Dana’s strategic objectives. Through B2B sales, you will engage with C-suite executives and key decision-makers across targeted sectors, government agencies, colleges, and universities. Embedded within Dana Hospitality, you will implement strategic business plans and support operational teams with sales and marketing initiatives.

Your Work Will Include

  • A true hunter, constantly seeking new deals while nurturing lasting relationships, resulting in a high closing ratio.
  • Exceeding growth or maintenance goals for your region, including profitability and other objectives.
  • Conducting face-to-face visits, developing prospects, and building influence, spending over 80% of your time on relationship-building.
  • Networking within targeted associations and industries to gather market intelligence and connections.
  • Leading the preparation of proposals and presentations with relevant stakeholders.
  • Developing strategies for target opportunities, including innovative solutions to meet client needs.

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • At least 5 years of B2B sales and business development experience
  • Minimum 3 years of solution selling experience
  • A proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Effective communication with executive decision-makers
  • Knowledge of consultative selling methodologies (e.g., Miller Heiman, Challenger Sales) and familiarity with Salesforce
