Position: Sales and Rentals Equipment Coordinator

You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring smooth yard operations—helping customers, managing equipment logistics, and keeping everything organized. You’ll play a key role in receiving, inspecting, and preparing machinery while delivering top-notch customer service. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and enjoy working around heavy equipment, this is the perfect opportunity to grow your career!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive new and used machinery, verifying quantity and quality, and documenting as required.
  • Initiate processes for over, shortage, and damage issues with sales coordinators.
  • Process and locate machinery and attachments according to established procedures, create and affix asset bar codes, and track locations within the ERP system.
  • Check the condition and completeness of all incoming and outgoing rental equipment, documenting with inspection logs and pictures.
  • Prepare rental equipment for shipment to customers, ensuring it is washed, presentable, and functioning properly.
  • Complete documentation (bills of lading and transportation logs) for all incoming and outgoing equipment.
  • Ensure all incoming customer equipment is accurately tagged with all attachments, and verify that all attachments are present upon return.
  • Stage all sales machinery, rental equipment, and customer equipment to the shop queue area.
  • Conduct stock verification checks for the sales coordinators.
  • Coordinate and participate in machinery and attachment stock counts (minimum once per year).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment storage areas, ensuring proper storage and timely housekeeping duties.
  • Support the location’s rental coordinator in other functions as required (e.g., vacation support).
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well with others.
Training, Education, and Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in an industrial or construction site environment working with or around heavy or material handling equipment.
  • Operator certifications or experience safely operating equipment.
Values:
  • Build trust with customers and colleagues.
  • Be a team player and work collaboratively to succeed.
  • Be customer-focused and strive to exceed expectations.
  • Support community, care for our people, community, and planet.
  • Deliver results by knowing what needs to be done and completing tasks efficiently.
Working Conditions:

The Sales and Rental Equipment Coordinator is based at the Surrey branch and works approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role involves frequent exposure to outdoor elements (about 80% of the time).
