Job summary

Bass Pro Shops Saskatoon is hiring a Seasonal Sales Outfitter for Apparel to help customers discover outdoor gear and provide expert product knowledge. In this part-time role, you will join a team delivering legendary service, maintain store presentation, and support holiday promotions.

Previous retail or service experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is recommended; strong communication and a passion for the outdoors are valued.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations based on needs.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s specific products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions.
• Promote various company programs and promotions.
• Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed.
• Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle.
