Here’s Where You’ll Be Focusing:

  • Lead team of Sales Ops Specialist; Manage the day-to-day prioritization and operations of the team, in close collaboration with the Director of Sales and Head of Empire Media+
  • Oversee sales operations coordination and campaign preparation (e.g., brief-in and coordinate assets between vendor partners, creative services, and internal execution teams)
  • Manage strategic relationships with and ensure close collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., banner marketing, email, site, creative, sales)
  • Establish best practices to ensure that sales operations is efficient
  • Own and further enhance all tools and capabilities required for campaign preparation (e.g., Asana improvement)
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve and optimize existing campaign preparation processes (e.g., improvement of SLAs)
  • Monitor the latest trends in digital media (e.g., channels, ad formats and tech) to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how to leverage new tools/services
  • Will need to co-ordinate with most functions across the organization (e.g., merchandising, national sourcing, shopper marketing, UX) and external partners (e.g., vendor partners, creative agencies, advertisers)

What You Have to Offer:

  • Proven management & leadership skills with the ability to guide a cross-functional team to a common vision and lead through influence
  • Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Proven ability to problem solve creative solutions and establish a path forward in a new business environment
  • Proven Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written, presentation, people, and diplomacy skills
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across varying levels of seniority and a complex, matrixed organization
  • Mandatory: 5+ years of experience in account management and/or project management and/or digital marketing (experience in retail media is an asset), with experience leading small teams of 3-5 people
  • Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Finance, or related discipline required
  • Demonstrated experience in media buying platforms, ad serving, demand side and analytics platforms, and relationship management
