Sales Operations Specialist
12-Month Maternity Leave Contract

Work Location: Native Shoes is a hybrid organization with the head office located in Railtown in Vancouver, BC. This job will require the ability to work from the head office a minimum of two days per week.

Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional and proactive client experiences across independent accounts
- Support clients with seamless order processing and fulfillment, responding to needs in a timely manner
- Ensure orders entered in the ERP system are accurate and up to date, including cancellations, return authorizations and change orders
- Analyze vendor compliance manuals and communicate client shipping requirements to internal teams and external vendors to ensure shipment accuracy
- Monitor warehouse turnaround time to ensure orders ship on time and investigate and resolve any shipping discrepancies or errors
- Provide relevant and timely product updates to the sales team and wholesale clients
- Create reporting and provide insights and recommendations that drive the wholesale business and foster client success. Use data warehouse to create more efficient reporting tools that reduce time and improve data accuracy
- Create reporting and provide statistical analysis, insights and recommendations that drive the wholesale business and foster client success
- Partner with planning, merchandising and sales teams to achieve sales targets and goals through assortment planning and opportunities
- Take ownership to resolve challenging customer issues and escalate when necessary
- Manage EDI orders, testing, set up, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Manage client portal purchase order entry and catalogue set up
- Track major account SMU orders
- Lead cross-functional team projects
- Attend client meetings to manage the sale through to the final delivery
- Team Lead for Full Circle: work cross functionally with IT to optimize Full Circle including troubleshoots and future development
- Work closely with Sales Reps understanding their needs and requirements providing a best-in-class service and increase sales
- NuOrder: responsible for working cross functionally with Sales, IT & Marketing on setting up NuOrder for seasonal order entry. Support with data load, creation of line sheets, customer specific requests, sales support documents (link tree), Order Management & troubleshooting
- Support in ad hoc requests as dictated by the needs of the business
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sales operations, customer service, wholesale operations, or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (Full Circle experience an asset)
- Experience with EDI order management and client portals
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; able to manipulate large data sets and create reporting tools
- Familiarity with NuOrder or similar B2B platforms a strong plus
- Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships with sales, planning, merchandising, IT, and warehouse teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven recommendations
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with a high sense of ownership
Compensation
This role is expected to be compensated between $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience and job-related qualifications. Compensation will vary based on experience, job-related qualifications, and individual or team sales achievements.
