Job summary

Mark Anthony Group Inc. is seeking university students to join our Ontario sales team across Ottawa to Kingston. You will stock, face, and showcase brands at accounts and help move product to accelerate sell-through during a 4-month summer contract.

You will gain real-world experience in the alcohol and beverage industry, develop sales and negotiation skills, and contribute to a fast-paced, growth-driven culture. Applicants must be 19+ with Smart Serve and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• University degree in progress.
• Must be the legal drinking age in your province.
• Comfortable with lifting 30-50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle for work.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Territory: Ottawa to Kingston.

Responsibilities

• Stock, face, and maintain company merchandise at accounts.
• Showcase brands at account locations.
• Assist with transferring product between locations to sell through faster.
• Own and drive sales in your territory to grow listings and sales.
• Support sales programs and promotional events.
• Participate in tasting events as required.
• Run on-premise promotions to boost visibility and sales.
• Communicate current selling activities and offers to customers.
• Build long-term sales relationships with customers.

You will be working with our exciting brands including White Claw® Hard Seltzer, Dillon's Small Batch Distillers, The Finnish Long Drink, and Olé Cocktail Co.

What you’ll do:

• Stock, face, and maintain company merchandise at accounts
• Take opportunities to creatively and effectively showcase company brands at account locations
• Help with transferring product from one location to another to help with faster sell through of product
• Responsible for your own sales territory to help drive listings and rate of sale in each account
• Assist with sales programs and initiatives
• Assist with special tasting and promotional events as required
• Run on-premise night promotions within an account base to increase visibility and sales of brands
• Communicate current selling activities including limited time offers (LTO), new products, display opportunities to all customers
• Interact positively with customers to build long-term sales relationships
• Other related duties as assigned

Do you have what it takes?

• University degree in progress
• Customer service experience preferred
• Must be the legal drinking age in your province
• Comfortability with physical activities such as lifting, moving, and handling materials weighing between 30-50 lbs.
• Valid drivers’ license with access to a vehicle to use for work (Vehicle should be suitable to load cases of products and materials for external events)
• Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Flexibility with commuting longer distances on occasion for sampling related events
• Smart Serve Certification
• Territory: Ottawa to Kingston
