Job description

Our client is a rapidly growing company in Sarnia, ON, currently seeking a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join their sales team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of the Canadian Sales Manager and be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of all assigned projects, utilizing best practices to assist the sales team, deliver projects on time, within budget, and in scope, while ensuring high-quality service and mitigating risks.

While this list describes the ideal qualifications, we will consider candidates with some qualifications but sufficient experience, talent, drive, and initiative to learn.

Job Type : Full-time

Schedule : M-F 8:30 am – 5 pm

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow up with leads and maintain a database of customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Support the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Assist with the preparation of sales and marketing presentations and reports.
  • Serve as the point of contact for sales representatives in the field meeting clients and making sales.
  • Review documents thoroughly to coordinate quotes sent to clients, in collaboration with estimators and suppliers.
  • Assist the Sales Manager with lead generation.
  • Experience with import/export specialties is considered an asset.

Marketing Activities :

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the company's products.
  • Create and manage content for marketing materials such as brochures, website content, social media posts, and email newsletters.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Assist in organizing and attending trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Promote services and products on the company's social media and professional networks.
  • Proven experience with excellent writing and editing skills.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in a related field of business or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Graphic design skills and knowledge of Adobe Suite are assets.
  • Strong organizational abilities and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • High discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
