About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Full-time, year-round position.
- Salary: $60,000 per year.
- Typically Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with some flexibility required.

The Perfect Candidate:
- At least 2 years’ experience in Sea to Sky Tourism, Hospitality, and Sales.
- Education or training in sales, marketing, communication, tourism, or business (lived experience welcome).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends.
- Result-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Self-disciplined and motivated to work independently.
- Approachable, professional, with a positive attitude.
- Passion for culture, tourism, and service.
- Proficiency with Event Management Software, CRM, and POS systems.
- Clear criminal background check.
Responsibilities Include:
The Sales Manager will source, negotiate, and close sales, proactively engage clients, and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to event execution.
Sales Operations
- Manage the entire sales cycle, including qualifying leads, proposals, site visits, contracting, and booking in the system.
- Develop leads through networking and community engagement.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets set by the Director of Sales & Events.
- Monitor key metrics, report bi-weekly on lead status, conversion rates, and sales.
- Ensure contracts are handed over to the Events & Catering team promptly.
Business Development – Product & Experience
- Develop and refine packages and pricing for corporate and wedding markets.
- Stay current with industry trends to evolve offerings.
- Collaborate with Marketing on sales strategies and messaging.
Collaboration & Community Engagement
- Build relationships with local and key partners.
- Represent the Centre at industry events and trade shows.
- Work with the Events Manager for client handoffs and contract management.
- Support event execution on-site when needed.
Finance
- Support sales target and budget setting.
- Monitor related expenditures.
- Maintain accurate financial records in the system.
- Manage deposit payments.
