Job description

Brandt is currently seeking a Sales Manager - Small Ag & Turf for our Rocky View Agriculture (John Deere) location. The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving sales growth and profitability of the wholegoods department.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Achieving asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets, including but not limited to new and used wholegood inventory.
  • Providing for the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals.
  • Management and development of all employees in the Sales Department with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers, and employees.
  • Achieving market share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company.
  • Providing feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures.
  • Assisting in the management of branch account receivables in conjunction with the Director of Credit Services and VPO of Operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Must be able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
  • Confident decision-making skills in regards to financial transactions, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning.
  • Must be available to travel as needed; a recent driver's abstract will be required.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years’ direct work experience in a sales management capacity.
  • Experience in the heavy equipment industry strongly preferred.
