A consulting firm in Alberta is seeking an experienced sales manager to manage client accounts and develop sales strategies. You will need a minimum of 5 years in the FMCG sector, with proven experience in managing a large volume of products. Strong CRM skills and experience in the HORECA sector are essential. Manage existing client accounts and grow sales opportunities within them.
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth.
Generate additional sales from assigned accounts and hunt for new clients when required.
Understand buyer needs, prepare proposals, and close sales deals.
Strengthen customer relationships and improve retention through CRM and feedback analysis.
Monitor sales performance, competitors, and market demand to identify opportunities.
Lead and manage the sales team, including training, evaluation, and recruitment.
Oversee departmental budget and ensure efficient resource allocation.
Review and improve sales processes for higher efficiency.
Job Requirements:
Min. Nitec / Diploma holder.
Min. 5 years of relevant experience in the FMCG / Food Product industry.
Relevant wholesale trade industry experience in HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés).
Proven track record in managing and selling a large volume of SKUs (e.g., seafood, Japanese products, fresh produce, dry goods, etc.).
Familiar with CRM systems for customer management and sales tracking.
