Sales Manager - Health and Safety Excellence Program

Join TELUS Health as a dedicated Sales Manager for our Health and Safety Excellence Program, targeting small and medium businesses across Ontario. This high-velocity, high-volume sales role focuses on helping Ontario employers access WSIB premium rebates through our certified health and safety solutions. You'll work with qualified leads from strategic partners, managing the complete sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

About the Program

The WSIB Health and Safety Excellence Program is a provincially regulated initiative that helps Ontario employers improve workplace safety while earning rebates on their WSIB premiums. As a WSIB-certified provider, TELUS Health delivers tailored health and safety solutions specifically designed for small and medium businesses.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive growth in our Health and Safety Excellence Program. This role requires a results-oriented professional who thrives in a high-volume sales environment, working exclusively with qualified leads from our strategic partners including CFIB (Canadian Federation of Independent Business).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Management: Convert qualified leads from partner organizations into signed contracts
  • Client Consultation: Conduct discovery calls and presentations to explain program benefits
  • Sales Process: Manage complete sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution and onboarding
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with small business owners and decision-makers
  • Documentation: Utilize Salesforce CRM to track all sales activities, pipeline management, and reporting
  • Contract Management: Oversee MSA (Master Service Agreement) execution using DocuSign and other digital tools
  • Performance Tracking: Meet monthly quotas
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operations team for seamless client transitions and renewals
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years in B2B sales, preferably in high-volume environments
  • Technology Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 suite, Salesforce CRM, and DocuSign
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for phone and video consultations
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving product environment
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of small business operations and regulatory compliance (asset)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in health and safety, insurance, or regulatory compliance sectors
  • Knowledge of WSIB programs and Ontario workplace safety regulations
  • Background in partner channel sales or lead-based selling models
  • Familiarity with SMB market challenges and decision-making processes
