We are now seeking an experienced, collaborative, sales & customer-focused individual to manage our growing team.
As a Go Ahead Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and driving the growth of our Canadian business. You believe that market growth and top-notch customer service go hand in hand. You are committed to motivating, developing, and driving a team of tour consultants to success. Your team will be responsible for driving the sales process from initial inquiry to creating longstanding travel programs. You are flexible, open-minded, and lead by example. Your responsibilities include:
- Manage a growing team of sales staff, predominantly selling over phone but also in person.
- Successfully manage your team’s sales pipeline and forecast to exceed goals.
- Provide local sales leadership, including ongoing sales coaching and training to improve quality, conversion, and efficiency.
- Support the training program that introduces our new hires to Go Ahead’s itineraries and sales techniques, and offers continual support to experienced sales team members.
- Work closely with Sales Directors and our Analytics Team to prioritize sales initiatives and develop strategy.
- Provide a consistent feedback loop to product development and marketing based on customer and competitive insights gathered during the sales process.
- Learn and become a subject matter expert on Go Ahead’s products, including itineraries and programs, and understand what makes them unique and valuable.
- Continuously juggle and prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial and positive attitude consistently.
- Travel experience and prior sales experience are required.

Requirements :
- At least 2+ years of staff management experience.
- At least 2+ years of sales coaching and training experience.
- At least 5+ years of sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel.
