Role : Sales Manager (Film & Television, Broadcast) Department : Sales Location : Montreal or New York or LA or Atlanta Reports into : VP of Sales

ABOUT THE ROLE

Disguise is looking for an ambitious and driven Sales Manager to join our Sales team. This person will lead our sales efforts within the Film and Television (TV) industry by selling Virtual Production solutions to Studios and Production companies. Virtual production is a form of video production that displays digital assets on large LED walls behind a physical set. Example studios include Pier59 Studios in New York City, Nascar Studios in North Carolina, or MELS Studio in Montreal.

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a strategic business plan to increase market share within the Film and TV sector. Additionally, you will identify new business opportunities, and drive client satisfaction. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximize the impact of Disguise's solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

  • Act as an individual contributor within a collaborative and supportive sales team
  • Lead new business sales cycles valued at $100K–$1M+ in the Film & TV space
  • Design and execute a strategic go-to-market plan to grow Disguise's footprint in the Film & TV sector. Film and TV means Broadcasters, Media Production, Film and episodic shooting and production, and Commercials.
  • Produce accurate monthly forecasts for sales of both products and services within Salesforce / Clari
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials for new prospects
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to potential customers
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to maximize profitability
  • Collaborate with marketing to build targeted campaigns and thought leadership for the the film and television industry
  • Represent Disguise at key industry events (e.g., NAB, InfoComm, HPA) and deliver public presentations as a subject matter expert

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :

  • Experience in A / V, Entertainment Tech, Broadcast Technology, or a related technical sales field (e.g., software, cloud, hardware).
  • Experience selling internationally, specifically within Canada and USA
  • 5 years+ end-to-end b2b sales experience, preferably within the AV equipment, live concert OR broadcast industries
  • Solid experience closing and managing large complex technical deals ranging from $100K-1M+
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization (including C-Level)
  • Following thorough sales processes, preferably BANT / MEDPICC
  • Proven experience building in-depth relationships across multiple stakeholders within an organization
  • Experience forecasting sales for 3months-1+year
  • Comfort in public speaking roles and representing brands at industry events
