Overview

Sales Manager, Commercial Accounts

As a Sales Manager, Commercial Accounts, you will be responsible for driving direct Multifunctional Printers and integrated office solutions and services sales within a specified territory through a team of commercial sales representatives. You will be counted on to lead by example and seek opportunities to implement the corporate strategy.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of commercial sales representatives to drive monthly revenue and unit budget within a defined territory
  • Drive commercial sales activities and sales funnel growth to achieve a budget
  • Coach and mentor commercial sales representatives, complete Performance Development Plans and cascade KRAs and performance objectives for team members that aligns, promotes and supports BSS goals and strategies
  • Create an environment of success through strong leadership and adherence to Canon policies
  • Ensure all direct reports update all commercial sales activities in SalesForce and generate reports as required
  • Utilize economic, financial, and industry data to accurately diagnose business strengths and weaknesses, identify key issues, and develop strategies and plans within a defined territory
Qualifications

To Succeed, You Will Need:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, with a focus on small to midsize accounts
  • Strong project management skills are required to implement budget strategies through a team of sales representatives
  • Strong Time Management/Multitasking skills are required to balance the requests and needs of staff, management and customers
  • Strong Analytical skills are required to review customer requirements in order to conduct pricing proposals and use information provided by sales operations and finance to increase sales
  • Strong knowledge of and use of SalesForce, S21DS, Sales Logs and Core Billing Packages
  • Intermediate use of DSD product line to demonstrate to customers
  • Basic Computer/Technical skills are required to review and manipulate data in Excel, and create presentations in PowerPoint
