Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Actively sell group business with 15+ guestrooms on peak, ensuring monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals are met.
  • Solicit and engage with new business/clients, while growing existing relationships and capturing re-bookings.
  • Organize and conduct introductory and planning site visits professionally, addressing guest/group needs and showcasing hotel offerings.
  • Create, maintain, and manage positive relationships with guests, vendors, departments, colleagues, and the global sales network.
  • Conduct ongoing research within the market segment/region and participate in tradeshows, conventions, and promotional events.
  • Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service, ensuring prompt and courteous interactions internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of previous Group Sales experience in a similar setting; proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport seamlessly.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across hotel departments.
  • Strong customer service focus, maintaining professionalism and calmness under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure high-quality service.
