Position: Sales Manager at Jaguar Land Rover

The Sales Manager will assist the General Manager in planning, organizing, controlling, and measuring the activities of the Sales Department. Responsibilities include developing training programs for new and used car sales staff, conducting training classes or coordinating with qualified sales management personnel, and managing administrative tasks related to the department.

  1. Establish long- and short-term goals for the sales team as directed by the General Manager.
  2. Guide sales staff in setting achievable objectives.
  3. Recommend inventory levels based on sales trends and current stock.
  4. Set and monitor sales and gross objectives for the sales team.
  5. Assist in forecasting controllable expenses for the department.
  6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and training sessions.
  7. Hire, motivate, counsel, and monitor sales staff performance.
  8. Ensure adherence to dealership policies and procedures.
  9. Coordinate with other departments to support sales objectives.
  10. Plan programs to increase gross profit and finance penetration.
  11. Oversee prospecting activities and ensure effective use of CRM systems.
  12. Conduct regular reviews and develop training plans for sales staff.
  13. Participate in planning and executing sales initiatives to meet departmental goals.
