Job summary

The Dufresne Group, Ashley Canada, Newmarket store is seeking a Sales Manager to lead the team, coach for peak performance, and drive an exceptional guest experience in Newmarket, Ontario.

You will focus on coaching, performance management, and store leadership, ensuring high standards, sales growth, and a positive guest journey. This role requires strong leadership, hospitality mindset, and availability for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales leadership experience.
• Experience coaching a team accountable for performance targets.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Availability for days, evenings and weekends.
• Criminal Record Check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in achieving store goals for sales, margin, conversion and other key measures.
• Coach and develop team members to strengthen individual and store performance.
• Build an engaged, accountable team through feedback, recognition and performance management.
• Lead team meetings, training and performance discussions.
• Coach the team on the Ashley Sales Approach, product knowledge, promotions and guest engagement.
• Review performance trends and implement action plans.
• Ensure every guest receives exceptional service.
• Partner with the General Sales Manager and Store Operations Team on store priorities.
• Maintain showroom standards and ensure policies and processes are followed.
• Support the attraction, onboarding and retention of a strong team.

At Ashley Canada is seeking a Sales Manager for our Newmarket store at 17700 Yonge St. This leadership role focuses on coaching the sales team, improving store performance and creating an exceptional guest experience.

As the Sales Manager, You Will

• Post-secondary education is an asset; equivalent experience will be considered
• Availability for days, evenings and weekends
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check may be required
