About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Leasing Agent with exceptional organizational and sales skills. This position requires that you use our tools (Hubspot, OpenPhone) for tracking activities with the leads. The ideal candidate must enjoy chatting with leads and helping them find the best apartment for them. You’re expected to be organized in keeping your contact records clean, tours are scheduled and attended to properly, and ensuring that all leads you sign are able to submit the required documents for their onboarding.

This role requires that you attend all Sales Meetings and be at the office in person. You will also be traveling for in-person tours for our Downtown Montreal properties. Not all leads are available to communicate or tour properties during office hours, so expect that you will be working nights and weekends depending on the lead’s availability.

  • We are currently in HIGH SEASON, this is the time of the year where 70% of all leasing is done and when there is great $$$ to be made.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create listings on online platforms to promote our available properties and get leads (Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, Craigslist, etc)
  • Follow our defined sales process when communicating with leads
  • Maintain and update Hubspot records for contacts and deals so we have visibility
  • Meet the defined leasing quotas at the pricing established
  • Ensure that all deals in the pipeline are closed within 7 days
  • Facilitate lease preparation (in coordination with our admins) and ensure that the lead signs the lease
  • Ensure that the new resident sends all of the required onboarding documents before the handoff to the Operations Team
  • Stay updated on changes in pricing of rent for available units
  • Conduct required background checks before proceeding with lease preparation (Trustii)
  • Conduct proper handoff to the Operations Team for onboarding of new residents
  • Schedule and conduct property tours for interested leads
  • Provide feedback on property condition to the operations team based on your observations during tours
  • Provide feedback on lead quality to the marketing team regarding leads assigned to you from our own paid marketing campaigns
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in real estate
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple leads simultaneously.
  • Ability to quickly respond and adapt to changing needs, especially in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (We use Hubspot)
  • Must be genuinely excited to meet and chat with new people to help them find their next apartment
  • Must be proactive and dedicated to close deals
  • Availability during after hours and weekends to attend to leads and conduct tours
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • Highly coachable and has natural inquisitiveness
