Job Summary

Assist store management with operations, develop associates, and achieve sales goals and performance standards.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Meet and exceed sales goals
  2. Train and develop sales team
  3. Provide feedback, coaching, and enforce policies
  4. Perform opening and closing duties
  5. Manage daily store operations in management's absence
  6. Oversee loss prevention practices
  7. Communicate store needs effectively
  8. Complete bank deposits
  9. Complete assigned tasks promptly
  10. Participate in all required training
  11. Provide excellent customer service
  12. Resolve customer issues effectively
  13. Demonstrate and embody the Journeys culture
Job Requirements
  • Prior retail sales experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Desire to succeed in retail
  • Willingness to learn
  • Completion of training programs or equivalent
  • Availability for night and weekend shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Must be at least 18 years old
