Sales Associate - Construction

Tremco Construction Products Group brings together Tremco CPG Inc.’s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions; Tremco Barrier Solutions Inc.; Dryvit, Nudura and Willseal brands; Prebuck LLC; Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.; Weatherproofing Technologies Canada and PureAir Control Services, Inc. Altogether, Tremco CPG companies operate 21 manufacturing facilities, 6 distribution sites, and 3 R&D / technology sites, and employ more than 2,700 people across North America.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Sales Associate is an introductory sales role partnered with an experienced Sales Professional for comprehensive training. Responsibilities include prospecting new accounts, managing existing customers, and traveling within the assigned territory of Brantford, Woodstock, Simcoe, Stratford regions.

3RD ANNUAL ASSOCIATE PROGRAM

Starting between June 1st and August 1st, associates will learn, train, and grow alongside peers. Starting salaries range from $60,000 to $65,000 with up to 15% bonus potential. Each associate will have a mentor, shadow opportunities, and after two years, will be promoted to manage their own territory with responsibilities and sales targets.

  • Manage relationships with dealers and end users
  • Organize distributor demonstration events

EDUCATION

Associate degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

One to two years’ sales or construction experience and/or training; a bachelor’s degree will be considered in lieu of experience.

OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SF.Com, and internal systems
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, organized
  • Confident with a strong work ethic and high energy
  • Desire to advance in technical sales
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Travel within the territory as needed.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION

Salary ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 plus 15% incentive. Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, pension plan, bonus/commission, and continuing education.
