Job Opportunity: Commercial Sales Representative

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent
  • Work Environment: Remote work and on-the-road daily
  • Salary: $75,000 to $95,000 plus commissions, based on experience
  • Territory: Southwestern Ontario – from Kitchener to Windsor

Responsibilities
  1. Prospect and contact potential customers daily
  2. Present and sell company services to new and existing clients
  3. Conduct presentation meetings with potential clients as needed
  4. Retain current customers by providing creative solutions tailored to their needs
  5. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company services
  6. Research target prospects, market trends, and competition
  7. Adhere to company procedures, values, and policies to accurately represent the company
  8. Make calls and travel within your territory for face-to-face meetings
  9. Maintain detailed records of sales activities using CRM and other reporting tools
  10. Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management
  11. Participate in weekly sales calls and meetings
  12. Coordinate account opening, rate implementation, and operational needs with departments
  13. Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager for support and coaching
  14. Achieve or exceed sales metrics daily, weekly, and monthly
Qualifications
  • College degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry is an asset
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms is an asset
  • Strong rapport-building, negotiation, listening, organizational, and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Experience in outside B2B sales is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High integrity and work ethic
  • Self-starter in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suites, and CRM
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
