Job Title : Sales Executive – Lender Partnerships

Our client is a leading digital mortgage platform, trusted by homebuyers, brokers, and lenders. Their innovative solutions simplify mortgage calculations, pre-approvals, and the application process, empowering lenders to improve efficiency and customer engagement.

As they continue to expand their presence in the lending sector, they are seeking a Sales Executive – Lender Partnerships with a strong understanding of mortgage lending and financial technology. This individual will be responsible for selling digital solutions to banks, credit unions, and alternative lenders across Canada.

Role Overview

The Sales Executive – Lender Partnerships will drive revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing deals with new lender partners. You will play a crucial role in demonstrating how digital mortgage solutions can enhance lender efficiency, improve customer experience, and drive loan origination volume.

This position is hybrid, requiring in-office collaboration along the TTC Yonge Line in Toronto several days per week.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Execution

  • Identify and engage potential lender partners, including banks, credit unions, private lenders, and monoline lenders.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations, articulating the value proposition and competitive advantages.
  • Develop tailored sales strategies that address the unique needs of different lender segments.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to refine the sales approach for lender partnerships.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at lending institutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for lender partners, ensuring their success with the solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop co-branded initiatives that drive product adoption.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to expand brand presence.

Sales Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate the Canadian lending market.
  • Provide insights into industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape to inform product development.
  • Track sales performance and report on key metrics, ensuring a data-driven approach to business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance product offerings based on lender feedback.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience in mortgage lending, financial services, or FinTech.
  • Strong network and relationships with banks, credit unions, and private mortgage lenders in Canada.
  • Proven track record of closing B2B sales and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of mortgage lending, underwriting processes, and broker-lender relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience using CRM tools and sales automation platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a strong sense of initiative.
