What you will do:

The Sales Executive represents Accenture’s Health & Public Services Client Group and will develop and grow government relationships to deepen our opportunities for sales in the technology domain. You will be responsible for day-to-day sales campaign management, with emphasis on opportunity qualification, win strategy definition/execution, proposal development, oral presentations, and support of contract negotiations. The successful candidate will apply Accenture's corporate strategies, client service group priorities, and formal sales campaign management processes to secure new contracts and deliver sales that meet or exceed financial goals within acceptable risk parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales: Developing, validating, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities.
  2. Providing solutions to complex business problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
  3. Interacting with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, involving negotiation or influence on significant matters.
  4. Managing large work efforts as an individual contributor at a client or within Accenture.

Here's what you need:

  • 8+ years of experience in sales within the Provincial & Federal Government.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales for a large consulting, technology, and/or outsourcing services provider.
  • 8+ years of originating and shaping complex deals for a major consulting and/or professional services organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline.

Bonus Points if:

  • Client-facing experience (from deal qualification through close).
  • Ability to network across Accenture.
  • High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Team player with unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to interface and negotiate with senior executives.
