About the Role:This opportunity is with a fast-growing Canadian business specializing in innovative surface solutions designed to improve durability, sustainability, and aesthetics in residential and commercial environments. This dual-role position blends sales support with executive assistant responsibilities. You’ll help qualify and prioritize new sales leads, communicate professionally with clients, and assist in re-engaging past customers. You’ll also work closely with the CEO, helping manage their calendar, prepare materials, and ensure they’re supported on key priorities and projects.
This role offers remote flexibility, with the option for hybrid work if located in the Ottawa area.Key Responsibilities:Sales Support & Client Engagement• Qualify inbound leads: Triage daily inquiries to determine viability and urgency
• Client communication: Draft and send emails; conduct calls and virtual meetings with prospects and clients
• Follow-up coordination: Ensure leads are followed up on in a timely and professional manner
• Re-engagement: Reach out to past or inactive clients to identify new business opportunities
• CRM management: Keep contact and deal records updated (HubSpot experience is an asset)
Executive Support• Calendar and email management: Help coordinate the CEO’s meetings, follow-ups, and travel (if applicable)
• Task prioritization: Track CEO priorities and ensure next steps are clear and organized
• Document prep: Assist with creating slide decks, reports, or briefing notes for meetings or proposals
• Administrative support: Help with scheduling, file organization, and special projects as assigned
• Confidentiality and discretion: Handle sensitive business information with professionalism
What They're Looking For:• 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, executive support, or a similar dual-role position
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment with shifting priorities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with CRM tools (HubSpot is a strong asset), Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
• Post-secondary degree in business, communications, or a related field (an asset)
• Professionalism, reliability, and a proactive mindset
