Why This Role Matters

As a Sales Executive at Rival Insurance Technology, you’ll be at the forefront of helping insurance brokers modernize their businesses through digital solutions. You’ll connect with new and existing clients, guide them through the value of our products, and ensure their success with Rival from the first conversation to long-term partnership. This role is equal parts hunter, relationship-builder, and product advocate.

You’ll be joining a growing team that values curiosity, collaboration, and clarity—and your work will directly influence Rival’s growth and the experience of our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, engage, and convert prospective brokers into long-term customers
  • Lead product demos (virtual or in-person) that focus on client value
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and consistently meet or exceed monthly / quarterly sales goals
  • Stay close to the needs of the market and surface trends and feedback internally

Client Relationship Management

  • Build trust with new and existing clients through consistent follow-up
  • Partner with our Client Services team to ensure smooth onboarding and support
  • Provide training and guidance on new product features to drive adoption
  • Market Presence

  • Represent Rival at industry events, trade shows, and webinars
  • Collaborate with Marketing to co-create sales assets and messaging
  • Act as a brand ambassador who can speak to our value, vision, and culture
  • Process & Operations

  • Support implementation for new clients with professionalism and clarity
  • Track outreach and opportunities in our CRM with discipline and accuracy
  • Continuously sharpen your knowledge of the insurance landscape and Rival’s offerings
  • What You’ll Bring

  • A proven track record in B2B sales—bonus if you’ve sold tech or worked in insurance
  • A clear, confident communication style and strong presentation skills
  • Comfort building relationships across client levels, from operations to executives
  • Self-starter energy—you know how to manage your time and follow through remotely
  • Experience using CRMs and tools like Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • A degree in business, insurance, or technology—or equivalent experience
