Our client, a fast-growing designer, importer, and wholesaler of outdoor winter accessories, activewear, footwear, swimwear, and clothing, is looking for a Senior Footwear Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate must have solid connections with Canadian and US sporting goods retail chains and specialty stores, particularly in the surf brand sector.
Responsibilities:
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions in the United States and Canada; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
- Arrange, conduct, and follow up on sales appointments with major retail house accounts in Canada and the USA.
- Maintain sales volume and selling prices by staying current with supply and demand, trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and market conditions.
- Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed.
- Participate in trade shows and sales meetings as required.
Criteria:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience selling lifestyle footwear in both Canada and the USA.
- Established working relationships with buyers at major retail chains and specialty stores in both countries.
- Fluency in bilingual communication, computer literacy, and enthusiasm for outdoor sports.
