Sales/Event Coordinator

In the fall, we turn into Canada’s most terrifying haunted attraction- Screampark. In October, the Oktoberfest Kool Haus is home to thousands of guests to celebrate KW Oktoberfest (North America's largest Bavarian festival). We are seeking a Sales and Event Coordinator that will ensure smooth operations, supporting client relationships, and keeping everything on track. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves the details, and enjoys being part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and process all group sales inquiries, confirmations to final invoicing.
• Prospect and identify new business via phone, email, networking.
• Proactively monitor network to identify potential clients and opportunities.
• Build and maintain a positive relationship with clients with a key understanding of the client’s needs.
• Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for clients.
• Administration of event bookings, entering data into various software to produce orders and contracts.
• Communicate to various departments to ensure that the booking is executed effectively.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
• Oversee all communications between the sales team and the operations departments, including reporting, change notices, balancing and sheet run.
• Ensuring all permits are in place for liquor license, extensions, and tents.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1 year experience in Sales/Retail/Customer Service preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience is an asset.
• Post Secondary education in recreation, event planning preferred.
• Ontario Drivers License Class G required.
• Smart Serve Certificate required, or willing to obtain.
• Excellent in time management and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge and proficient in MS Office Applications.

Monday to Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.
