We’re hiring a Sales Engineer – Data Center Solutions to join our growing team at eStruxture.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Engineer, you'll act as the technical expert in the sales process—working with customers, sales, and internal teams to design high-performance colocation solutions tailored to customer needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with Sales to assess customer goals—technical, financial, and operational.
  • Lead solution presentations, respond to RFIs/RFPs.
  • Attend client meetings (virtual/in-person).
  • Provide technical input on site assessments.
  • Create designs for power, cooling, connectivity, and space.
  • Develop technical budgets and documentation.
  • Ensure proposed solutions meet reliability, scalability, and performance goals.
  • Validate designs with engineering and operations.
  • Help with onboarding and implementation.
  • Serve as a technical advisor during handoffs.
  • Assist in troubleshooting post-implementation.

Technical leadership

  • Share knowledge with internal teams.
  • Improve processes, documentation, and delivery.
  • Stay updated on trends in AI/ML, high-density cooling, and automation.

What You Bring

Experience

  • 5+ years in a data center or mission-critical environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge in:
  • HVAC/cooling
  • Fire suppression and physical security
  • Networking and connectivity
  • Comfortable working with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in complex deals and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with cloud, compute, and storage infrastructure.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) or equivalent experience.

Skills

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication; bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Visio.
  • Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote.
  • Monday to Friday schedule.
  • Occasional travel (~10%) across Canada.
  • Flexibility required for urgent needs outside regular hours.

Security Requirements

All offers are conditional on a background check. Candidates must be eligible for Reliability Status clearance.
