Job Family Group: Commercial Sales & Service

The Sales Director will be responsible for a portfolio of commercial banking clients with borrowing needs between $10,000,000 and $50,000,000 and revenues between $40,000,000 and $100,000,000.

A background or passion for supporting First Nations communities' economic development is preferred.

Facilitates growth initiatives through business development and client relationship management, maintaining revenue generation and compliance standards.

  • Leads and executes business development plans to meet or exceed goals.
  • Provides strategic input and acts as a trusted advisor for business decisions.
  • Makes recommendations on strategy and initiatives based on market understanding.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies.
  • Advises on sales strategy considering market and client needs.
  • Conducts analysis to resolve strategic issues.
  • Develops business cases and assesses ROI for initiatives.
  • Recommends priorities and develops strategic roadmaps.
  • Networks with industry contacts for insights.
  • Coordinates database management and data governance adherence.
  • Leads change management programs.
  • Manages risks within the portfolio.
  • Oversees review processes and documentation adherence.
  • Leads operational program execution and quality assurance.
  • Acts as daily sales contact for clients, managing queries and documentation.
  • Supports pre-sales activities and tracks implementation requests.
  • Prepares and maintains client data and ensures billing accuracy.
  • Serves as a resource to senior leaders and stakeholders, applying expertise to solve complex problems.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in negotiations, RFP responses, and sales strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge in risk management, relationship management, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and make data-driven decisions.

Salary: $81,700.00 - $152,000.00
