Role Overview

The Sales Director – Aircraft Management is responsible for generating new aircraft management opportunities and guiding aircraft owners through client acquisition. Reporting to the VP Sales, this role focuses on expanding our managed fleet by converting qualified leads into long-term clients. It requires aviation industry knowledge, sales expertise, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify prospective aircraft owners for management services.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand ownership goals, usage, and service needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, charter, finance, sales, maintenance) to develop solutions and value propositions.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals for management services, pricing, and onboarding.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM tools.
  • Support aircraft onboarding in coordination with client services and operations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings.
  • Build relationships within the organization and assist in aircraft sales opportunities.
  • Achieve targets for new managed aircraft and revenue growth.

Minimum Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Experience in private jet client-facing roles.
  • 10 years in Business Aviation.
  • Extensive knowledge of business jets and models.
  • Proven success negotiating with C-suite executives.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
