Compensation : 140k+ base salary, commission & bonus

Position Overview :

We’re seeking a strategic, people-centric Sales Director for an industry-leading manufacturer of Energy Management Solutions to lead a high-performing, growth-focused team. This leadership role is central to our next phase of expansion and will be responsible for guiding five direct Team Leaders and indirectly supporting a team of 30 Sales Managers across North America.

The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is energized by coaching others toward success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and develop a team of 5 Team Leaders, while indirectly overseeing a broader sales force of 30 Sales Managers.
  • Provide hands-on coaching, performance feedback, and career development to ensure team success and engagement.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Define and implement strategic plans to achieve and surpass revenue targets.
  • Ensure effective pipeline management, sales forecasting, and consistent process execution across teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to align strategies and share market insights.
  • Represent the Sales function in cross-departmental leadership meetings and company planning.
  • Lead improvements in CRM usage (Salesforce), reporting tools, and sales enablement processes.
  • Drive initiatives to increase efficiency, scalability, and data-driven performance.

Talent & Culture Development

  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and team growth.
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-first, and results-driven sales culture.

What You Bring :

  • A proven ability to lead large and diverse sales teams
  • Expertise with CRM systems and sales enablement tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and strategic planning skills
  • A data-informed approach to problem-solving, paired with empathy and emotional intelligence
  • The ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across departments

Qualifications :

  • 6–8 years of experience managing sales teams, with a track record of delivering results
  • Deep familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and data analytics
  • Demonstrated success in scaling teams and driving sales growth
  • Experience in fast-paced or tech-driven environments is a strong asset
