The Role

We’re looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Sales & Partnerships Leader to help us grow our member base and partner network. You’ll focus on:

  • Generating and qualifying great-fit small business leads
  • Identifying and onboarding aligned service partners (e.g. bookkeepers, CFOs, benefits providers)
  • Connecting leads and partners to the CEO and onboarding team

This is an opportunity to be the first boots-on-the-ground sales and partnership hire, with room to shape the process, grow your influence, and help build something meaningful.

What You'll Do

Lead Generation & Qualification (SMBs)

  • Identify and qualify high-potential SMBs who can benefit from the Huumans ecosystem
  • Build and manage outreach campaigns across email, social, and referral networks
  • Book intro calls and ensure strong handoff to the CEO or onboarding team
  • Track interactions and insights in our CRM to improve future outreach

Partnership Development (Advisory & Service Providers)

  • Source and engage qualified advisory firms aligned with Huumans' values and services (e.g. bookkeeping, fractional CFO, payroll, benefits)
  • Guide potential partners through the value proposition and application process
  • Maintain strong relationships with accepted partners, ensuring alignment and co-marketing opportunities
  • Help partners understand Roy, FinRoy, and the community’s expectations

Relationship Building & Community Alignment

  • Understand the real pain points from both sides of the market—what SMBs are missing and what providers want to deliver
  • Educate both audiences on how Huumans can enhance their everyday work and impact
  • Build trust by speaking their language and never overselling
  • Collaborate with the CEO to improve messaging, pitch decks, and outreach content
  • Work with marketing to align campaigns for both audiences
  • Offer insights from the field to improve Roy’s advice engine, partner content, and community engagement

Future Pathways

  • Opportunity to grow into an account management, sales leadership, or partnerships director role
  • Help scale our go-to-market strategy from the ground up

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years in B2B sales development, channel partnerships, or community growth roles
  • Experience working with small businesses and/or service providers
  • Passion for empowering SMBs—especially those left behind by traditional financial services
  • Relentless follow-up, resourcefulness, and comfort with ambiguity
  • Natural communicator who builds trust and moves conversations forward
  • Strong cultural fit with our guiding principles: do what’s right, scale what’s human, deliver value without the drama

Bonus Points

  • Experience with fintech, benefits, SaaS tools, or professional services
  • Familiarity with CRMs like Hubspot, Notion, or Pipedrive
  • Prior exposure to startup, freelance, or community-led businesses
