The Sales Development & Event Manager will take the lead on designing and executing high-energy Private Sales Events across our dealerships. This is your chance to combine sales development, event management, and team coaching into one dynamic role that directly impacts our customers’ experience and our sales success.

Compensation aligned with experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Build and lead Steele’s Private Sales Event program – from strategy to execution.
  • Host and energize in-store events, acting as the event lead and client liaison.
  • Partner with dealerships and OEMs to plan timely, targeted campaigns.
  • Reinforce the Steele Playbook Sales Process, coaching sales teams and driving accountability.
  • Leverage databases and OEM programs to target the right clients at the right time.
  • Create excitement with digital invites, social media, and marketing campaigns.
  • Track results and report ROI to leadership.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years in automotive retail, sales, F&I, CRM, or event management.
  • Strong knowledge of dealership operations, OEM programs, and CRM systems.
  • Confidence leading events, coaching sales teams, and public speaking.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at cross-team coordination.
  • Knowledge of privacy and CASL compliance.
  • Willingness to travel across Atlantic Canada (and occasionally the U.S.).
