SHOPICO.CA is a transactional website owned by Bell Media where it is possible to purchase discounted gift certificates. These gift certificates can then be exchanged for goods and services from reputable retailers.

The sales coordinator - shopico.ca, supported by the Sales Director – Bell Media Quebec, along with the other members of the shopico.ca team, ensures outstanding customer service, supports daily operations with sales teams in Quebec and across Canada and creates content to promote partner offers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the material needed to publish promotions with sales teams and their clients
  • Create, review and publish online offers (translation, formatting, etc.)
  • Provide support and training to sales teams
  • Track broadcast agreements (accounting reports)
  • Provide customer service and technical support to buyers and merchants (emails and phone calls)
  • Send gift certificates
  • Track sales and refunds in collaboration with Accounting
  • Promote shopico.ca on Bell Media radio stations (generate auto promo messages and create broadcast contracts)
  • Create and share promotional offers on social media
  • Draw up and send Shopico’s News Letter
  • Draw up and send Shopico’s offers to be posted on the intranet for employees
  • Follow-up with various internal and external teams to ensure the proper functioning of the transactional site (website technical support team, Moneris, Corporate Security)
Critical Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service
  • Experience in the web and new media
  • Excellent organizational skills, a sense of priorities and attention to details
  • Leadership and autonomy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn other software
  • Knowledge of French and English required: In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
Preferred Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent diploma in Communication, Marketing, Administration or any other related field

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
