Join to apply for the Sales Coordinator - New Grad position at Amrize.

About The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager for the GCA, Southern Alberta Ready Mix Division, the Sales Coordinator will work with our Area Sales Team to understand our ready mix business. This is a developmental role to learn and utilize sales systems and tools, gaining experience in markets, customers, and products, with the goal of building a long-term career with Amrize.

This opportunity is part of Amrize's New Graduate Development Path (NGDP). Over two years, new grads connect with peers, gain exposure to various business aspects, and participate in e-learning and monthly development sessions, fostering community and professional growth.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Serve as a role model in safety, environmental stewardship, leadership, teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • Learn the aggregates sales function including customers, products, markets, logistics.
  • Produce and enter sales quotes into SalesForce.
  • Utilize sales tools like Qlikview for reporting.
  • Investigate initiatives around new markets and products.
  • Follow up on projects and assist the sales team in customer discussions.
  • Participate in weekly/monthly sales meetings.
  • Conduct jobsite inspections for safety and quality assurance.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting a safety culture.

What We’re Looking For

Education: Recently obtained university degree or college diploma in Civil Engineering, Business, or related field.

Additional Education: N/A

Experience: Up to 2 years in construction industry preferred.

Skills: Experience with SalesForce, Apex, SAP is a plus. Strong communication, interpersonal, and business skills. Self-motivated, disciplined, and safety-conscious. Technical aptitude for learning new systems.

Travel: 0-10%

Additional Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and adhere to safety protocols including PPE use.
