SUMMARY
The Inside Sales representative is responsible for achieving branch sales growth targets and strategic priorities. They drive collaboration within the branch, maintain existing accounts aligned with DSV Sales Process, and target new prospects by selling DSV Road products and solutions. The role requires ensuring alignment across functional areas (Product, Sales, Operations) throughout all phases of the sales cycle.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Introduce DSV’s products & services to prospective clients through targeted telemarketing campaigns.
- Follow up on quotations within defined timelines, maintain tracking logs, and assist in developing Account Plans based on account size.
- Generate and qualify leads from various sources such as Unassigned Accounts, CRM Prospect Pool, and internal/external requests.
- Gather initial lead information, communicate findings to Sales Management, and qualify leads accordingly.
- Enter all sales leads and market intelligence into CRM, verify existing client information, and follow up appropriately.
- Participate in and support marketing campaigns like direct mail and trade-lane initiatives.
- Maintain and develop client relationships, work with operations to improve service levels, and manage accounts to meet KPIs.
- Support creation and updates of SOP documentation.
- Assist in new customer onboarding, including account setup with the credit department and internal communications.
- Escalate client issues or concerns to relevant managers.
Quality, Health & Safety
- Support ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
- Perform tasks that support DSV’s objectives regarding quality, health, safety, and environment, following all related policies.
- Ensure daily activities promote sustainability, health, safety, and reduce environmental impact.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
- CIFFA certification is an asset.
